I felt quite honored when Brian asked me to write a testimonial letter for him. I have known Brian Dean for the past 4 years, first as a neighbor and board member, and in more recent years as a friend.

In addition to raising a family, being a husband and an involved parent, Brian has always found the time to be involved in his community and tackle issues that he feels are important. Unlike many people these days, whenever he adopts a cause or pursues a new interest he is guaranteed to be highly committed.

I first met Brian shortly after we arrived here in NE Ohio from Massachusetts. We were elected to the New Hampton master board at the same time. Brian has been the President for the past 3 years; I have served as Vice President for the past 4 years. We have worked countless hours together for our community. Without Brian's critical thinking and solid judgment New Hampton would have never overcome the fraud and subsequent bankruptcy that the community suffered at the hands of our management firm in 2007. Brian's leadership and guidance allowed our 611 unit community to survive, self-govern and eventually flourish.

I could continue with descriptions of Brian's many other good qualities - his work ethic, his energy, and his creativeness to name a few. Instead I would simply like to state how highly I think of Brian Dean and how strongly I recommend him for any task that requires problem solving and a high level of commitment. He is certainly a strong candidate for Councilman for Broadview Heights Ward 1.

To Whom It May Concern,

Every so often a person comes along who focuses your attention and earns your respect, seeming in a single motion. Such a person is Mr. Brian Dean. As fellow members of the New Hampton Homeowners’ Association Board of Trustees, I have only known Brian but these past four years. In that short to time I have grown to respect his abilities to manage complex situations and delegate authority toward resolve. He demonstrates sensitivity to issues, critical to the common good, yet singles out necessary disciplines achieving individual conflict resolution.

Brian is a detail man, to the point of minutia and is highly-skilled in organizational techniques beyond typical expectations. He is performance orientated and multi-tasks with ease. He is comfortable placing others concerns and needs before his own; he is fair but still demanding in his expectations. He is quick to acknowledge quality performance yet relentless in his expectations and ability to fine-tune one’s abilities. It is refreshing to watch a true professional at work.
